Stainless Steel Wire Rope Thimbles.
Thimbles are used to create a hard eye in wire rope ends.
The wire rope is feed around the thimble and looped back onto itself.
The wire rope is then swaged together using a hydraulic press or gripped using wire rope grips/bulldog grips.
The use of a hard eye reduces wear on the inside diameter of the wire rope.
This also allows for pins and shackles to be used on the rope end and helps the eye keep its shape.
