Our goal is to provide a 5-star customer service and our team is committed to this.
We have a lively retail store in Athlone – the centre of Ireland, where we have over 12,000 square feet of retail and warehouse space.
We also have offices in Dublin 7 where we run our marketing department. We stock over 11,000 different product lines, everything from fasteners & fixings to Mig Welders & Plasma Cutters.

We are agents for high-tech welding manufacturers including Migatronic, Jasic and SWP.

We understand that buying equipment can seem risky so every month we offer free training/demonstrations on different types of welding plants so that customers can see the type of quality they are buying.
You might be in doubt about which welding plant to buy or you might just want the advice of someone who has worked as an industrial welder/fabricator, you’ve come to the right place.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
My job is maintain the culture of ProWeld, to keep it 100% customer focussed. I really enjoy the technical side of our business and welding is my trade. In my spare time I love being a Girls and Boys Rugby coach and I am an enthusiastic (but really bad) golfer!

I enjoy the challenges that I encounter at Proweld on a daily basis. Outside work hours, I enjoy running and gardening which is a great stress relief after a day’s work.

At Proweld, we try our best for our customers. I always do my very best to have our customers smiling leaving our store. I don’t have any specific section but I have a good knowledge of steel, nuts and bolts, key clamps, and welding materials. Outside of work, I like watching all sports (mainly Moto GP and GAA) and I do a little bit of farming at home.

I am the manager of the Athlone outlet. We are a team and always looking to expand and build on Proweld. I enjoy time with my family and my old Fords in the evenings.

I like helping people out, sharing my knowledge with customers and learning from them all the time. I try to give an all round service in sales, both in store and online and offer a repair service for our customer’s tools and equipment.

I am the purchasing manager here at Proweld. I am working with a great team and always looking to expand my knowledge in the painting sector. I enjoy sports and manage my local football team.

I’m the manager for ProWeld here in the Dublin shop. I have learned so much since I started here and enjoy coming to work with a great team. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
